Ministry Club
Ministry Club at Shoreland Lutheran High School is designed for students who are prayerfully considering a future in full-time public ministry, such as becoming a pastor, teacher, or staff minister in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). The club supports and encourages students who are exploring this calling by providing opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, and practical insight into ministry life.
A key highlight of the club is the annual Focus on the Ministry trip to Martin Luther College (MLC) in New Ulm, Minnesota—the WELS college of ministry. This trip allows students to experience college life, connect with current MLC students and faculty, and learn more about the paths available for those pursuing ministry. Through this and other activities, Ministry Club helps students discern how their gifts might be used to serve the Lord and His people in full-time gospel ministry.
