SLHS Foundation

Established in 1987, the Shoreland Foundation has supported our school in a number of ways over the years. They’ve purchased property, supported construction efforts, and provided special funds when SLHS was going through difficult times.

Currently, the Foundation holds approximately $1.5 million in assets, with a goal of reaching $2 million in the near future. The investments the Foundation board makes perform exceptionally well. Each year, the dividends from the Foundation’s investments provides Shoreland with over $16,000, which goes to support things like:

  • Tuition assistance
  • Fees associated with providing Chromebooks for our students
  • The general operations budget
  • Special projects not funded by the general budget

Supporting the Foundation with your gifts means that you will be planting a seed that will blossom into a rich and beautiful future for Shoreland and its students. There are many different options for you to donate, so you can really think outside the box when considering what kind of legacy you would like to leave at Shoreland. Donation options Include:

  • Cash
  • Real estate
  • A bequest through your will
  • A life-income gift – such as a charitable gift annuity or a charitable remainder trust

Shoreland Foundation Board Members
